Mission

We train geologists and geological engineers who understand the Earth — and use it with care. We give our graduates the chance to see the world differently and to work anywhere: in Romania and abroad.

Solid training Bachelor's degrees in Geology (Geochemistry) and Geological Engineering, master's degrees in Environmental Geochemistry and Wellsite Geology, a PhD in Geology — programmes aligned with European standards and the job market.
Field and laboratory Field work from the first year and modern laboratories: optical microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, XRF, geoinformatics.
Original research Research centres and groups in environmental geochemistry and wellsite geology, with internationally published results.
International outlook Erasmus+ and CEEPUS mobility for students, research stays for staff, conferences in Romania and abroad.
